  • Celebrating 20 Years of Creating Business Value through Good HR Practices: iHR Consulting

iHR Consulting is proud to announce our 20th anniversary in the HR industry this March. Over the past two decades, we have provided expert HR risk management services to SMEs in Malaysia, helping them achieve their business objectives.

As your ideal HR risk management partner, we have completed over 300 HR audit projects, developed more than 1000 employee handbooks, and successfully managed and mitigated IR and ER issues with a 100% success rate. Our track record speaks for itself, as we have supported our clients in winning every industrial relations court case.

Currently, we are handling HR matters for close to 300 retainer clients, ranging from MIA, resignation reply, show cause letters drafting, warning letter drafting, and even drafting employment contracts for various types of employment. We take pride in creating business value for our clients through good HR practices and look forward to continuing to support SMEs in Malaysia for the next 20 years and beyond.

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are excited to offer a special deal for new clients to partner with us for as low as RM 500 per month on retainer. In addition to our anniversary offer, we want to inform our clients about the recent changes to the Employment Amendment Act 2022.

Under the new act, all employees are now covered, regardless of their wages, and employees earning over RM 4000 per month are no longer entitled to overtime. Employees can also apply for flexible work arrangements, and the maximum working hours per week have been reduced to 45 hours from 48 hours.

Maternity leave has been revised from 60 days to 98 days, and fathers are now entitled to seven days of paid paternity leave. Employers must display anti-sexual harassment notices at all times, and those planning to hire foreign workers must obtain approval from the Director General.

Gig workers are now defined under six criteria to determine whether they are covered under the Employment Act. Non-compliance with Employment Legislation penalties have also been revised from RM 10,000 per offense to RM 50,000 per offense.

We are committed to keeping our clients informed and compliant with the latest employment laws and regulations. As your HR risk management partner, iHR Consulting is dedicated to helping SMEs in Malaysia succeed in the ever-evolving HR landscape.
